Clean Wake helps you float a better boat by providing an easy way to responsibly recycle your old conventional two-stroke outboard motor, and giving you an incentive to do it.

Bring in your old conventional two-stroke outboard motor to a participating marina and we’ll recycle it responsibly for you. The first 50 program participants to bring in their engine will receive a $100 gift certificate towards purchases at the participating marina.

When compared to four-stroke engines an old two-stroke outboard produces and emits:

• 50 per cent more CO
• 15 times more gas and oil
• 12 times more carcinogenic or mutagenic toxins

By retiring 50 old two-stroke engines Clean Wake will reduce harmful emissions by 15,835 kilograms, the equivalent of about 25 round-trip flights from Toronto to New York.
