How It Works
General air flow patterns

Open door with Air Curtain (with rectifier)
- Air stream reaches the floor at lowest possible speed so that maximum passing-through comfort is guaranteed
- Theoretical efficiency is greater than 90%
- Heat from the Air Curtain benefits the indoor climate
Open door with Air Curtain (without rectifier)
- Because of turbulence, air stream does not reach the floor so the door is not thoroughly screened
- Inefficient because of heat loss
- Still drafty at the floor
Open door without Air Curtain
- Significant energy loss due to heat escaping through the open door
- Drafty and cold in the building
