The VendingMiser incorporates innovative energy-saving technology into a small plug-and-play device. It is an occupancy-based energy control product that controls refrigerated beverage vending machines using a Passive Infrared Sensor (PIR) to power down the machine when the area surrounding it is vacant. The device then continues to monitor room temperature and automatically re-powers the cooling system at one- to three-hour intervals to ensure your product stays chilled. And the VendingMiser’s microcontroller will never power down your machine while the compressor is running – when the vending machine is powered up, the cooling cycle is allowed to finish before it is powered down.
Installed in minutes either on the wall or on the vending machine, the VendingMiser is compatible with all types of cold drink vending machines.
