Ian is a recognized leader on environment issues and has been responsible for creating some of the most innovative and effective market-based programs on air quality, climate change, and healthy housing in Canada. Ian was instrumental in the creation of Summerhill Impact and has won several awards in honour of his work. In 2006, Ian was named by Strategy Magazine as one of seven marketing leaders to watch and in 2008 he was appointed to an advisory panel of eminent Canadians to provide advice and assistance to the Government of Canada at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) conference in Indonesia. Ian lives in Toronto, volunteers for a number of charitable organizations, is an avid hockey player, and an active father to the two best boys in the world: Jackson and Charlie. |

Ersilia is a recognized leader in public engagement and outreach and has been responsible for creating and managing some of the most innovative and effective social marketing programs on air quality and climate change in Canada. Ersilia is a pro-active, energetic, and entrepreneurial individual who has built her career on creating high-energy and solution focused public engagement campaigns. Before becoming the CEO of Summerhill, Ersilia was Summerhill Impact’s Executive Director. Under her direction, Summerhill Impact flourished, more than tripling in size and revenue while expanding to include several new, award-winning programs. At the community level, Ersilia lends her expertise to several organizations including the Ontario Environmental Leaders Program and the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO). Ersilia also volunteers her time with the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research Canada and is a member of The Climate Project Canada. Ersilia completed an Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto with a double major in Biology and Environmental Science and her greatest joy is spending time with her two daughters. |

James has helped build Summerhill into a premier company in the environmental sector. He has been instrumental in developing many of our successful conservation programs including Keep Cool and Flick Off. James is responsible for Summerhill Innovation which is focused on driving innovative technologies into commercial markets across North America. James holds an Honours Degree from McGill University in Montreal as well as a Biodiversity diploma from the University of Ottawa. |

Corey has a wealth of experience managing large-scale energy efficiency programs and market transformation strategies. A graduate of the University of Waterloo’s Environment and Resource Studies department, Corey cemented his passion for the environment through paid and unpaid gigs with Pollution Probe, Green Tourism Association, Canadian Institute for Environmental Law and Policy, and Greenest City. In 2004, Corey joined Summerhill and has since initiated and overseen many of our high profile environmental campaigns for retailers and utilities across Canada. As President of Summerhill, Corey is responsible for a variety of day-to-day business activities as well as strategic business development for the company. Corey has been a featured speaker, motivator, and environmental enthusiast on several continents. He is also an avid sports fan, music collector, reader, and traveler. |

Fatima is a leader in program strategy, design, and delivery. Under her direction, the Car Heaven program was expanded across Canada and, due to the program’s exceptional success, Summerhill Impact was selected to run Environment Canada’s Retire Your Ride – Canada’s Vehicle Recycling Program. Fatima has fostered a career driven by conviction and passion and has strived to bring about permanent, positive, and tangible environmental change. Joining Summerhill in 2004, Fatima has dedicated her efforts to the activities and programs of Summerhill Impact. Her successful management of several different programs and initiatives lead to her being named as the Managing Director of Summerhill Impact in November 2008. Fatima is an active volunteer, advising the Laidlaw Foundation’s Granting Committee on environmental issues, as a Board member for the Ontario Clean Air Alliance, and within the Ismaili Muslim community. In 2008, Fatima was trained by Mr. Al Gore to deliver The Climate Project’s presentation based on “An Inconvenient Truth.” |

Barbara began her professional career in the areas of marketing and business development. She joined the Canadian Diabetes Association in 2001 and, as Director, Business Development, she provided strategic leadership to the Association’s portfolio of business operations, with annual revenues in excess of $30 Million. Barbara provides strategic guidance for the development and implementation of national marketing plans with a strong emphasis on community based initiatives. She has maintained a strong commitment to expanding revenue sources through socially and environmentally responsible endeavours. Barbara led the development of Summerhill Foundation which launched in Fall 2009. |

Stephanie has 20 years’ experience in the energy sector in public, private, and not-for-profit settings. Her work has ranged from creating and managing energy conservation and renewable energy programs to holding specialized workshops for energy professionals to sustainability strategic planning. Stephanie has been a speaker at a number of conferences over the last few years and in 2008 she undertook a three-week U.S. State Department tour of energy conservation policy and initiatives in six U.S. cities. Stephanie has a Master in Environmental Studies degree with a focus on strategies for changing energy use. |
