Summerhill announces partnership with the Municipality of Shenyang, China

Summerhill Strategy is pleased to announce that we have officially launched our partnership with the Municipality of Shenyang, China. On July 24, 2009, we held a signing ceremony with the Mayor to mutually agree to work together on several projects. This is our first step to expand our business into China.

Summerhill Strategy and the Municipality of Shenyang have agreed to establish a long-term cooperative relationship to work together on environmental issues and initiatives. Summerhill will provide training to Shenyang’s government-related personnel to raise their environmental awareness and broaden their knowledge on environment protection. We will also work together to develop and host environmental seminars, webinars, and forums, including the annual Canada-China Environmental Forum.

The time to make significant changes to the way people use energy and water is now. Changing behaviour is one of the most difficult things to accomplish, however, with the right mix of technology, education, consumer engagement and fun, we feel it is possible to create a “Culture of Conservation” in Shenyang.

Summerhill is ready and able to address this challenge and has already started working with the Municipality of Shenyang on the following projects:
