Tech It Away provided the infrastructure and incentives for Vancouver and Toronto schools to have a one-day electronic recycling campaign in their communities.  E-waste donations resulted in participating schools being awarded funding towards new, more efficient electronics.  The school that collected the most electronics was also offered a grant of $2,000 towards an eco-conscious school project.

Our retail client, Best Buy, showed environmental leadership by promoting the safe disposal and recycling of unwanted electronics.  Best Buy also demonstrated its commitment to community involvement by providing schools with discounts on much-needed technology.

Our Industry partners were able to satisfy their stewardship mandate by responsibly recycling electronics and diverting toxic waste from landfill.
