Providing Information & Energy Conservation Outreach to Southern Ontario Communities
On behalf of our utility client, Veridian Connections, Summerhill hired, trained, and equipped a team of field representatives who were focused on providing the utility with a positive corporate presence in 7 key communities: Ajax, Belleville, Bowmanville, Gravenhurst, Pickering, Port Perry, and Uxbridge.
During the Summer of 2008, these Summerhill Strategy program representatives toured 18 public events, festivals, and high traffic venues within Veridian’s licensed distribution service area. Our skilled field reps reached over 97,000 event attendees and engaged them in discussions on energy conservation, allowing them the opportunity to ask questions and voice their concerns. Veridian customers were encouraged to participate in a variety of energy conservation programs as well as to sign up for a newly available e-billing service.
Via surveys and a variety of other methods, our field reps also gathered valuable market data in order to inform Veridian’s customer engagement strategies moving forward.
