In 2008, Summerhill Strategy was engaged by Union Gas to obtain stakeholder input and achieve alignment on key areas pertaining to its next multi-year Demand Side Management strategy. One of Union Gas’ priorities was to improve some of the evaluation research and audit processes and timeline.

Summerhill’s work was divided into two complimentary phases. In the initial phase, we helped Union Gas develop Guiding Principles for the next multi-year plan and a related survey that Summerhill administered through in-person and telephone interviews with Union Gas management. Consultative members were also surveyed to gain insight on their priorities and concerns.

In phase two, Summerhill facilitated a half-day discussion with utility management and consultative members to discuss the principles identified in phase one.
