Staffing Services

The Summerhill Staffing Services team is comprised of a dedicated group of recruitment, training, and human resources professionals. Summerhill field teams are expert in product promotion, sampling, sales, public engagement, data collection, and educational initiatives. Due to our unique training programs, our field staff are qualified and prepared for any situation they may encounter during event execution. In 2009, Summerhill also began offering our Staffing Services as a third-party provider to select organizations.

Recruitment

Training

Summerhill’s history of large-scale program delivery has allowed us to test and compare various training approaches and to establish a unique niche in turn-key event delivery. Our unique training model builds knowledge, understanding, and confidence in our program representatives, ensuring the satisfaction of our clients, partners, and event participants. Between scheduled program dates, members of our field teams continue to act as environmental ambassadors and excellent promoters of the better environmental choices that Summerhill represents.

Summerhill training programs are designed to reflect the unique needs of each specific campaign. In addition to covering all relevant program information, they also include health and safety training, contextual information on the market sector(s) involved, detailed training regarding the environmental issues concerned, and administrative responsibilities. Summerhill also introduces our field reps to helpful methods to improve their skills in conflict resolution, customer service, and sales.

Summerhill training methods include in-class group sessions, self-study requirements, conference calls, webinars and self-administered online training modules. Our Staffing Services group designs training programs to be highly interactive and to offer combinations of various role playing activities, quizzes to test knowledge, external trips to relevant facilities, and trainee experience sharing through one-on-one discussions, emails, texts, intranets, and blogs. As a result, our field teams are unsurpassed in meeting event objectives and sales targets.
